Your Role as a Tour Guide
As a dog walking volunteer, you'll be greeted with wagging tails, excited barks, and even some kisses. Build strong bonds with dogs of all ages and personalities each eager for gentle encouragement, playful interaction, and the comfort of your presence as they enjoy one-on-one time with you beyond the shelter.

Getting Started
Requirements
- • Must be 18 years or older
- • Comfortable walking dogs on leashes
- • Able to walk for 20-30 minutes at a time
- • Willing to follow shelter guidelines
Time Commitment
- • Walks typically 20-30 minutes each
- • Available during shelter operating hours
- • Flexible scheduling available
- • As little as one walk per week
