Tiffany Reid, Executive Director

Tiffany Reid serves as the Executive Director of the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange, Texas, where she is committed to advancing lifesaving programs, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring every animal has the opportunity for a healthy, loving future.

Tiffany brings more than two decades of leadership experience in business operations, finance, human resources, nonprofit, and organizational management. Her professional background, combined with a lifelong passion for animal welfare, blends strategic planning with compassionate leadership. Before becoming Executive Director, she served on the GJAS Board of Directors, helping guide the organization's mission and growth. She has also served on the boards of the Texas Women's League and the Round Top Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the board of the Greater Fayette Community Foundation.

Under Tiffany's leadership, GJAS focuses on innovative, community-based solutions that keep pets with their families whenever possible while expanding access to spay and neuter services, responsible pet ownership resources, and lifesaving programs. She believes collaboration with local governments, veterinarians, volunteers, donors, and community members is essential to creating lasting change.

Tiffany is currently pursuing advanced education in Animal Shelter Management through the University of the Pacific, strengthening her commitment to evidence-based shelter leadership and progressive animal welfare practices.

A Texas native, Tiffany is dedicated to building a future where every healthy and treatable animal has the opportunity to thrive. Her vision for GJAS centers on compassion, accountability, and partnerships that improve the lives of both animals and the people who love them. When she's not at the shelter, she's an avid reader who enjoys time with her husband Britt, their two adult sons, their four rescue dogs and two rescue cats — and traveling to all her favorite places.
