Listen to shelter staff, volunteers, and my parent or guardian during my visit
Keep my hands clean by using hand sanitizer when needed
Stay with my parent or guardian while at the shelter
Read stories that help animals feel calm, loved, and happy
Use toys safely and gently
Remember that shelter animals may feel scared or nervous, and help them feel safe
Help make the shelter a positive place for animals and visitors
Have fun while helping shelter pets find forever homes!
