Circumstances change, and surrendering a pet is never an easy decision. Whether you've found a stray, need to surrender your own pet, or are returning a GJAS alum — our team meets you with compassion, not judgment.
Required
- Valid photo ID
- Surrender donation ($20 per pet, $25 per litter)
- The pet(s) you're surrendering
Helpful to bring
- Pet's medical records and vaccination history
- Any medications the pet is taking
- Favorite toys or bedding
- Behavioral history and reason for surrender
The more you can tell us, the better we can care for your pet and find them the right new home.
Every animal receives
- Age-appropriate vaccines
- Flea & tick prevention
- Heartworm prevention
- Feline FIV/FeLV testing
- Spay/neuter surgery (if needed)
- Microchipping
Ready to begin?
Walk-ins are welcome during open hours — Tue–Sat, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM — but calling ahead helps us prepare for your visit. Reclaims are also available Monday by appointment.
